The Patterns of Public Investment in Children in Uzbekistan: Current Status and Development Prospects

The purpose of this report is to analyze the current pattern of public investment in children in Uzbekistan and to develop recommendations for its improvement based on the international best practices for assessing the adequacy of public investment in children.

To achieve the purpose of this report, the following tasks have been completed:

• Assessment of the pattern of public investments in children in Uzbekistan;
• Analysis of the international best practices for assessment of adequacy of public investment in children;
• Calculations based on advanced methodology for the assessment of adequacy of public investment in children, taking into account the specifics of the budgeting process in Uzbekistan;
• Development of recommendations for improving the model of public investment in children in Uzbekistan.
