REVIEW OF POLICIES, PRACTICES AND LEGAL ENVIRONMENT IN UZBEKISTAN AFFECTING ACCESS TO HIV SERVICES

The purpose of this review is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the legal and regulatory environment of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning the regulation of access to HIV-related services. The study was based on a desk review of the existing legal and regulatory framework governing HIV prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care.

In preparing this review, particular attention was given to gender-related considerations and the specific challenges faced by different population groups, including women, men, children, young people and migrants.
