United Nations Common Country Analysis: Uzbekistan

This update to the Uzbekistan Common Country Analysis takes into account the impact of the COVID-19 crisis in 2020 and its continuing effects in 2021, touching not only public health and the economy, but also many other sectors and multiple socio-economic groups. The UN Country Team thus wished to reexamine the underlying analysis that had been agreed in 2019 and early 2020, and to improve the collective understanding of the development challenges and opportunities facing Uzbekistan in light of the systemic disruptions caused by COVID-19.
