Report on needs assessment of people living with HIV in Uzbekistan

The assessment was conducted to identify challenges which people living with HIV and key populations may face during lockdown and measure to be undertaken accordingly. The total number of respondents is 247 including people living with HIV, key population representatives (sex workers, men who has sex with men and people who inject drugs), people living with disabilities and HIV positive pregnant women. Based on the results of this assessment, it can be concluded that access to ARV treatment was provided and the majority of respondents have knowledge of basic measures for COVID-19 prevention. However, access to medical services (especially the key services during pregnancy) and psychosocial support were insufficient.
