UN Country Team configuration for implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2021-2025 in Uzbekistan

This joint statement represents the collective agreement between the UN Development System entities, on the configuration of the UN Country Team, in support of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2021-2025 for Uzbekistan. The joint statement has two key objectives:

1. to ensure the most adequate, needs-based, demand-driven and responsive configuration of support to Uzbekistan for the implementation of the national priorities identified for the Cooperation Framework, and
2. to enhance the coordination, transparency, efficiency and impact of UN development activities, in accordance with national development policies, plans and country needs.
