The adoption of this resolution is also a strong indication of the commitment to multilateralism by the countries of Central Asia and 66 co-sponsor countries.
In particular, the resolution encourages joint efforts to stimulate innovation, create jobs, and ensure long-term sustainable growth across the region.
Furthermore, the resolution calls for closer coordination among Central Asian States, as well as between them and international and regional organizations. It reaffirms the vital role that such partnerships play in addressing shared regional challenges.
It also encourages the continued strengthening of good-neighborly and friendly relations among Central Asian nations to foster long-term prosperity.
Importantly, the resolution calls upon the specialized agencies, funds, and programmes of the United Nations system to harmonize their activities in support of the regional priorities of cooperation, economic integration, and sustainable development.
