"The Cry of Silence”: Pantomime Performance Highlights the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

In cooperation with the Uzbekistan State Academy of Choreography and the “Shams-Qamar” Theatre Studio, we presented a series of pantomime scenes entitled “The Cry of Silence” to the audience.

This theatrical performance was dedicated to the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

Art and theatre are extremely powerful tools in the fight against gender-based violence. Works of art and theatre break the silence, evoke empathy, challenge harmful social norms, raise awareness, and inspire change in society.
